1-1. When indicating existence
Things: 책상위에 책이 있어요.
There's a book on the desk.
People: 교실안에 학생들이 있어요.
There are students in the classroom.
Place: 서울에 유명한 식당이 있어요.
There is a famous restaurant in Seoul.
1-2 have/ don't have
In Korean, "~have" and "~don't have" are expressions that refer to the state of possession or possession. This expression is especially used to describe the state of possession or possession of an object or resource.
We tent to take out the subject or the quatity when speaking Korean.
연필이 있어요? (Do you have a pencil?)
연필 없어요. (No, I don't.)
